What I collect
When you book online I collect your name, phone number, email address, town or suburb, chosen treatment, date and time. If you complete the client history form, I also collect the health history, treatment goals, consent and signature details you provide. During and after a session I may add professional SOAP treatment notes so care can be delivered safely and consistently.
How I use it
I use this information to confirm and deliver appointments, send the booking confirmation you requested, send a copy of booking details to the practice email so the diary can be managed, contact you about changes, assess whether massage is appropriate, plan treatment and keep treatment records. Client history and SOAP information is not sent by email. I do not sell your details or use them for marketing lists.
Who I share it with
Booking information is stored on the practice’s hosting and email systems so I can run the diary. Client history and SOAP records are encrypted and stored on the website’s database, then viewed only through the password-protected practice dashboard. I do not share personal information with other businesses except where the law requires it, or a service provider must process it solely to host the website or send booking email.
How long I keep it
Booking and treatment records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, manage the practice, resolve enquiries and meet applicable professional, insurance and legal record-keeping requirements. When information is no longer required, reasonable steps are taken to delete it or make it anonymous.
How I protect your information
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect booking and treatment information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure. Client history and SOAP records are encrypted at rest and dashboard access is password protected. Access is limited to the people and service providers who need it to operate the practice. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so do not use the form for urgent medical concerns.
Website information and cookies
The website may record standard technical information such as the date and time of a visit, browser type, device type and pages viewed. This information may be used in aggregate to maintain security and understand how the website is used. Essential browser storage may also be used to support booking features. Muscular Remedies does not use the booking details you provide to build advertising profiles.
Accuracy and access
Please let me know if your contact or booking information changes. You may request access to personal information held about you, ask for an inaccurate record to be corrected, or ask whether information can be deleted. Some records may need to be retained where professional, insurance or legal obligations apply. I may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
